Was he really planning on going to war with Germany?

Yes... for what? He was tired of being the fool of the World and Germany so happily pointed it out to him.... No. No more.

It's time for him to stop being a hero for people who don't want him to be a hero. Maybe being the anti-hero was his true nature.
